“Valpoi’s AI Whiz Kids Bring Robot Revolution to Goa’s Hinterland”

Valpoi: Youths from Valpoi have designed an Intelligence–based robot that can listen, see, process information, and respond intelligently

Whole thing has been done In a quiet classroom of Unity High school in Valpoi. This group of students have made a remarkable leap into an advanced technology, designing and developing an Artificial robot
The team comprised of Talha Khatib (architect & team leader) – Designed the robot’s physical structure and integrated its electronic nervous system
Muhammad Mahbar Sollapur (vision architect) – developed the robot’s vision intelligence using YOLOv3 neural networks
Amairah Aga (software engineer) – programmed the robot’s conversational abilities and voice-controlled movement
Anas Muzawar (integration specialist) – ensured seamless integration of hardware, software, and AI components
Their robot can recognize over 80 objects in real-time, respond to voice commands, and interact naturally. A true testament to their curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.
This was achieved under the able and capable guidance of Mr Arif Hussain (Robotics Instructor) and Nausil Shah Muzawar (Computer Teacher), this team has proven that world-class AI innovation is not limited to Silicon Valley or major metros but to the remote villages like Valpoi in Goa.
