CM Pramod Sawant launches 5-Day Literary Extravaganza”
Panaji: Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the five-days Goa Book Festival 2026, a vibrant celebration of books, ideas, literature and culture, organized by the National Book Trust, India (Ministry of Education) in association with the Government of Goa, Samarth Yuva Foundation, and Lokmanya Cultural Foundation at the D. B. Bandodkar Ground, Panaji, in the august presence of Secretary (Education), Shri Prasad Lolayekar, IAS, Director of Sports and Youth Affairs, Dr. Ajay Gaude, Chairman, Lokmanya Cultural Foundation, Shri Kiran Thakur,Chairman, National Book Trust, India, Prof. Milind Sudhakar Marathe.
The Goa Book Festival 2026 will be held till 8 February 2026 at the D. B. Bandodkar Ground, Panaji, with the objective of promoting book reading and encouraging literary engagement among people of all age groups.
