Goa Forward Party chief Vijai Sardesai questioned the controversy surrounding the chant “Viva Portugal”, saying what’s wrong with it when the Indian Government itself invited former Portugal PM Antonio Costa as the Chief Guest for Republic Day celebrations.
He added that only CM Dr. Pramod Sawant had a problem with the chant. Sardesai also linked the issue to dual citizenship, stating that if granted, voters might vote for the BJP
