Calangute Police Seize Over 1 Kg of Ganja”worth Rs. 1,09,400/- approx
Calangute: On 04.02.2026 raid was conducted at opposite Palmareinha Resort, Porbawaddo, Calangute, Bardez-Goa, Calangute Police Station team comprising of PSI Vishwajit Dhavalikar, PC- 7484 Yogesh Bordekar, PC- 7600 Suraj Fondekar, PC- 9270 Siddhant Lamgaonkar, PC- 8889 Gourang Surelkar all of Calangute Police Station during which accused Mr. Md Subhan S/o Md Arif, Age 25 years, N/o Ward No. 03, Madopur, Supaul, Pariyahi, Bihar was found in illegal possession of narcotic drugs Ganja weighing 1.094 Kilograms worth Rs. 1,09,400/- approx.
Credible information was received by Calangute Police Station from the sources that one male person will be coming to deliver narcotic drugs to his prospective customers. Accordingly a raid was conducted in presence of panchas and above narcotic drugs was seized.
A complaint regarding illegal possession of narcotic drugs was filed by PSI Shri Vishwajit Dhavalikar of Calangute P.S. upon which PSI Shri Kiran NAik has registered an offence under the provisions of NDPS Act, 1985.
Further investigation is in progress under the Supervision of PI Shri. Paresh Naik of Calangute Police Station with overall Supervision of SDPO Porvorim, Shri Vishwesh Karpe and SP North, Shri. H Madkaikar.
