Aam Aadmi Party’s Kejriwal Vows to Revamp Ponda’s ID Hospital
Calangute: Aiming to make a mark in Goa, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal promised to transform Ponda’s ID Hospital if the party’s candidate wins the upcoming by-elections. Visiting St Alex Church,in calangute he sought blessings for the people of Goa and criticized the current healthcare system, citing inadequate facilities and overcrowding at Goa Medical College (GMC).
“People are forced to rush to GMC, only to find no beds available without a referral,” Kejriwal said, highlighting the dire need for improvement. He appealed to Ponda residents to elect AAP’s MLA, assuring immediate transformation of the ID Hospital. Yesterday, Kejriwal met with locals in Ponda, gauging their concerns and frustrations with the healthcare infrastructure.
