Martyrs’ Sacrifice Honored: Goa Leaders Pay Tribute
Panjim: Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant led the State in paying tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives fighting for the nation. Dr. Sawant paid floral tributes. The police band played the Last Post and on its culmination a two-minute silence was observed in memory of the martyrs’ sacrifice.
Chief Secretary, Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, DGP, Shri Alok Kumar, IPS, Collector and District Magistrate, North, Shri Ankit Yadav, IAS, IGP, Shri K.R Chaurasia, IPS, President of the Goa, Daman and Diu Freedom Fighters Association, Shri Rohidas Desai were among those present.
