Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2026: Milica, Mladen claim Masters 35+ Mixed Doubles Crown
Miramar January 25, 2026 – The Masters segment of the Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2026 moved into its decisive phase on Saturday, with finals decided across singles and doubles events at the Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias and Gymkhana courts, even as in the tournament’s Masters 35+ mixed doubles final, Serbian couple Milica and Mladen claimed the title with a 7-5, 6-1 win.
In other title clashes, Sunil Mishra emerged champion in the Masters 55+ singles final, defeating Jai Mishra 6-4, 6-1. In the Masters 60+ singles final, Manoj Chandiramani staged a strong comeback to beat Sheetal Bhosale 3-6, 6-0, 10-5.
In the Masters 90+ men’s doubles semifinals, Mandar and Ashish produced a dominant performance to defeat Jaydeep and Vivek 6-1, 6-1 and book their place in the final. The Masters 120+ doubles semifinal saw father son duo Shrikant Tambe and Amit Tambe overcome Chandiramani and Jeyavel 4-2, 4-2.
Earlier, Ashutosh and Bipin advanced to the final of the Masters 110+ doubles after defeating Srinivas and Guruprasad 6-1. Sagar and Ashok booked their spot in the same final with a 6-3 win over Sachin and Kevin. The Masters 45+ singles final will see defending champion Amit Tambe take on Mandar Wakankar after Tambe defeated Naveen Cardozo 6-1 in the semifinals, while Mandar registered a 6-0 win over Mano Chhabra in the quarterfinals earlier.
In other quarterfinal results, Hemanshu defeated Atul 6-0 in the 45+ singles round of 16 before Armugam M beat Vijay 6-0 and then overcame Abhishek 6-0 in the quarterfinals. Amit Tambe blanked D Arumugam 6-0 in the round of 16. In the 55+ singles quarterfinals, Sunil Mishra defeated Ujjwal 6-4, while Ashok Kolekar edged Krishna K 7-6(5). In the 60+ singles quarterfinals, Sanjay Ashar beat Sushil Rawat 6-2.
Additional Masters 90+ doubles results saw Subodh and Atul defeat Som and Rajnikant 6-3, while Sumant and Rohan beat Sanjeev and Siddharth 6-0. At Gymkhana, Hemanshu and Armugam M defeated Parthasarathi and Praful S 6-2, while Mandar and Ashish beat Yuvraj and Sachin P 6-0. Anand and Abhishek defeated Jaydeep and Vivek 6-2, and Siddu and Chandrakant went down 1-6 to Mandar and Ashish in the quarterfinals.
Jointly organised by Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias and the Gadre Group, in association with the Goa State Tennis Association (GSTA), the tournament has received a record 555 entries across the Masters and Open segments. The tournament’s Open category matches will begin on January 26.
