Birch Tragedy Fallout: IT, ED Raid Homes of Ex-Sarpanch, Panchayat Secy
Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate officials raided the homes of Roshan Redkar, the disqualified Sarpanch of Arpora Nagoa, and Raghuvir Bagkar, former panchayat secretary, in connection with the Birch fire tragedy that claimed 25 lives.
The raids, which on this morning, aimed to uncover a money trail linking the duo to the Luthra brothers, owners of the nightclub. Redkar was already in police custody, and both he and Bagkar were accused of facilitating illegal licenses and NOCs for the nightclub.
