“Godinho Pushes for Seamless Governance: Panchayat Minister Reviews E-Services and AI Attendance Rollout”
Panaji, Goa – In a bid to fast-track digital governance, Panchayat Minister Shri. Mauvin Godinho chaired a high-level review meeting with GEL officials and the Director of Panchayats to assess the implementation of House Assurances related to online public services. The meeting also scrutinized the functioning of AI-based attendance systems, a key tool aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability in government operations.

The review meeting underscored the government’s commitment to leveraging technology for efficient public service delivery. “E-governance is the way forward, and we’re working tirelessly to ensure seamless access to services for our citizens,” Shri. Godinho emphasized. The meeting assessed progress on integrating various services onto digital platforms, aiming to reduce bureaucratic red tape and enhance citizen convenience. The AI-based attendance system, designed to monitor and track official attendance, was evaluated for its effectiveness in promoting accountability. A comprehensive roadmap was outlined to address pending assurances and expedite the rollout of e-services across panchayats.
The meeting was attended by senior officials, including the Director of Panchayats, and GEL representatives. With this push, the government aims to set a benchmark in digital governance and citizen-centric service delivery.
