Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College (Autonomous) bags ‘Inspiring Educational Institution Award 2026’

DCT’s Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College (Autonomous), Cujira, has been honoured with the ‘Inspiring Educational Institution Award 2026,’ presented biennially by the Vibrant Goa Foundation.

The award, recognises the exceptional contributions to education, skills, industry and societal impact, was conferred by Shri Mauvin Godinho, Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Government of Goa.

Under the leadership of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Manoj S. Kamat and Administrator Shri Rajesh Bhatikar, the college has achieved significant milestones including:
Leveraging autonomous status to introduce innovative programs in commerce, economics, management, AI, and aviation, creating new start-ups, promoting research, entrepreneurship, skill development, and national-level events like business hackathons.

The college has excelled in student placements, academic excellence, awards, industry collaborations and holistic development via partnerships and quality initiatives in the last 3 years.

Shri Shrinivas Dempo, Chairman of Dempo Charities Trust, and Smt. Pallavi Dempo, Trustee, expressed pride in the institution’s progress and its alignment with the Trust’s vision.

Principal Prof. (Dr.) Manoj S. Kamat credited the honour to the dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, enthusiastic students, supportive parents, and the dynamic management under the leadership of Shri Shrinivas Dempo and Smt. Pallavi Dempo.
