Margao: A shocking incident in South Goa has left a newly married couple’s families reeling. Just two days after the wedding, the bride allegedly assaulted her husband and mother-in-law, prompting the groom to flee in fear. Social activist Adv Pratima Coutinho, who helped the victims file a complaint, claims the bride changed her behavior on the wedding day itself.
According to the victim, the marriage was arranged and finalized in August. The alleged assault occurred when the groom and his mother confronted the bride and her sister at their home. The accused also reportedly smashed the rear glass of the car, causing financial loss ¹.
