PANAJI: Hundreds of Muslim devotees converged on Goa for the two-day Tabligi Ijtema, urging followers to embrace a life of simplicity and spiritual growth. Speakers emphasized the transient nature of life, stressing faith in the Almighty and adherence to prophetic teachings

A religious scholar from Bengaluru highlighted the impermanence of worldly things, urging attendees to understand the Almighty’s wishes and act accordingly. “Man always wants to remain young, not grow old, lead a life without problems, and remain alive forever,” he said, emphasizing the need for faith and reading the Qur’an and Hadith.

The event drew crowds from across the state, with speeches urging people to follow the right path and lead simple lives with high thinking. “We need to pray for it. Prophets are always right – show us the right path that leads us to Jannah after death,” attendees were told.
