Fashion designer Simran Dhond to Host ‘Classic vs Contemporary’ Style Talk at Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias
Panaji, January 2026: Multidisciplinary fashion designer Simran Dhond will deliver a lecture titled ‘Classic vs Contemporary- What Every Generation Can Learn About Style’— an audio-visual presentation, as part of the ongoing centenary celebrations at Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias.
Dhond, who earned a masters in fashion and textiles from De Montfort University, England and a Gold Medal in Knitwear Design from NIFT Bengaluru, has showcased her collections at Leicester Fashion Week and India Intimatewear Fashion Week. With a signature aesthetic that blends technical craft, sensuality and soul, Simran has designed categories from lingerie to shapewear, athleisure to leisurewear for several popular platforms and brands. Currently leading the Design & Brand Development at Carbon Tree, a conscious activewear label, Simran also works independently with Simmydoo – a slow, sensual lingerie and sleepwear brand rooted in Indian craft and organic comfort.
