Bastora: A dramatic rescue operation unfolded in Bastora when a cow fell into a well on Tuesday afternoon. The incident, reported at 12:41 hrs near Bastora Panchayat, triggered a swift response from the Mapusa fire services.
Led by fearless firefighter Suraj Shetgaonkar, the team sprang into action, deploying ropes and expertise to pull the distressed animal to safety. Suraj Shetgaonkar’s team used ropes and pulleys to carefully lift the animal out.
Locals cheered as the cow was freed, a bit shaken but thankfully unharmed. The fire services’ quick thinking and expertise saved the day!
