Governor Graces Grameen Food Festival 2026
Panjim, Goa: Governor Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, accompanied by First Lady Smt. Suneela Ashok Gajapathi, attended the Grameen Food Festival 2026, “Swadh Se Samriddhi Festival”, organized by Goa State Rural Livelihoods Mission (GSRLM) at INOX Courtyard, Panjim. The event aimed to promote rural entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and economic growth in Goa’s rural areas.
The festival showcased local produce, handicrafts, and food products, highlighting the state’s rich cultural heritage. Governor Raju lauded GSRLM’s efforts to empower rural communities, especially women, through sustainable livelihood initiatives ¹ ².
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant’s vision for a self-reliant Goa, as seen in initiatives like Swayampurna Goa, aligns with the festival’s goals. The event promoted local products, skill development, and entrepreneurship, contributing to Goa’s economic growth.
