Department of art and culture will be organising the Lokotsav Festival from 20th to 29th January 2026 at Kala Academy Complex, Panaji Goa. Huge crowd is expected to visit the festival to view the cultural programmes and visit grand Handicrafts /Craft Bazar that will be set up at the festival venue. Special Pavilion depicting the theme “Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat” will be set up at Kala Academy premises along with exhibition at Art Gallery. Various craft making workshops will also be conducted as a part of the festival for general public, art enthusiasts.
In this regard, department of Art & Culture, Sanskruti Bhavan Panaji has invited application from interested college students as Volunteers, from the colleges in and around Panaji city, local NGOs engaged in social work, youth of age group (20 to 35) from in and around Panaji who are interested to serve as Volunteer for the festival for the Lokotsav festival for total 11 days i.e. from 19 to 29th January 2026 during 3.00 pm to 10.30 p.m. Stipend will be paid to all the volunteers.
Applications are to be submitted on plain paper along with Aadhar Card details. The applications are to be submitted to the office of the Directorate of Art & Culture, Sanskruti Bhavan Patto Panaji Goa, latest by 14th January 2026 during office hours.
The applications will be considered on First Come First Serve basis.
