“Sawant Hands Over Offer Letters to 95 Young Engineers, Boosts Goa’s Infrastructure”
Porvorim: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant handed over offer letters to 95 freshly minted Junior Engineers and other personnel, newly selected for the Public Works Department (PWD) through the Staff Selection Commission, at a ceremony in Mantralaya, Porvorim.
Flanked by PWD Minister Shri Digambar Kamat and senior officials, Dr. Sawant expressed confidence in the young engineers’ potential to drive transformative projects across the state. “Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping Goa’s future,” he said.

The appointment of these engineers is expected to accelerate the implementation of key infrastructure projects, enhancing connectivity, and public services. The move underscores the government’s commitment to bolstering the PWD’s capabilities.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Secretary Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, and Principal Chief Engineer, PWD, Shri Uttam Parsekar, among others.
