“Tribal Pride on Display: Goa’s 9th State Level Tribal Sports Festival from Jan 9th to 11 th
Get ready for a thrilling showcase of tradition and athleticism as Goa gears up for the 9th State Level Tribal Sports Festival from January 9th to 11th, 2026, at Adarsh Gram, Amone, Poinguinim. This vibrant event is set to bring together talented athletes from across the state’s 12 talukas, competing in popular sports like kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, and tennis ball cricket, alongside traditional favorites like tug-of-war, langadi, and lagori ¹.
Around 1,648 players, accompanied by 240 officials and support staff, will converge to demonstrate their skills and passion.
