“New Zilla Panchayat Leaders Take Oath Sawant Attends Ceremony”
Porvorim, Goa – Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant attended the oath-taking ceremony of newly elected members of the North Goa and South Goa Zilla Panchayats at the Secretariat on wednesday . Reshma Bandodkar and Namdev Chari took oath as Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of North Goa Zilla Panchayat, while Sidharth Gauns Dessai and Anjali Velip were sworn in as Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of South Goa Zilla Panchayat.
Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho and Chief Secretary Dr. V. Candavelou were among the dignitaries present. The ceremony marked a new chapter for local governance in Goa.
