A violent clash between two rent-a-bike operators in Mapusa turned ugly on December 29, leaving one person seriously injured. The incident occurred over a trivial dispute, which escalated into a brutal fight, with the accused, Sameer Pednekar, allegedly biting off part of the victim’s ear.
The victim, identified as Nitesh Kandolkar, was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Pednekar has been taken into custody and is undergoing medical examination ¹.
