
The inaugural function will be held on December 28, at 5.30 pm, in the presence of Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant along with Minister for Tourism, Mr Rohan Khaunte; MLA, Saligao Constituency and Chairman, GTDC, Mr Kedar Naik, MLA, Mandrem Constituency and Chairman, Goa Housing Board, Mr Jit V Arolkar; Chief Secretary, Dr V Candavelou, IAS; Secretary (Tourism) Mr Sanjeev Ahuja, IAS; Director, Department of Tourism, Mr Kedar Naik and Managing Director, GTDC, Mr
Mr Naik said that the festival has been curated to bring together traditional cuisine, music and community engagement in a festive setting. He noted that Arambol provides an ideal venue for hosting such initiatives, which reflect the department’s focus on encouraging community-led tourism experiences and showcasing Goa’s cultural diversity.
The opening day will feature a stellar musical line-up led by Lorna, one of Goa’s most iconic voices. The evening will also include live performances by popular bands and artists such as Purple Rain, Black Slade, and Afroz Sayyed, setting the tone for a vibrant start to the 3-day celebration.
On December 29, the festival will continue with energetic performances by Gravity, Brainwash, 24K India, and Teri Miko, presenting a diverse mix of contemporary music and live entertainment for festival-goers.
The concluding day, December 30, will witness performances by Forefront, The Imperial, Usman, and Sartek, bringing the Raponkarcho Sea Food Festival 2025 to a lively and celebratory close.
