Calangute Police Bust Narcotics Racket: 45.3g of Methamphetamine Worth Rs 4.5 Lakh Seized 

On 23.12.2025 raid was conducted at Near Little Goa Restaurant at Porbowado Calangute Bardez Goa, Calangute Police Station team comprising of PSI Rajaram Bagkar, PC- 9499 Anshul Ghadi, PC 9698 Sandip Gawas, PC 9270 Siddhant Lamgaonkar, PC 8889 Gaurang Surlekar and PC 7446 Gitesh Gawas, during which accused Mr. Vishnu Harmalkar S/o Sham Harmalkar, age 36 yrs, R/o H.No. 686/A, Satarshet, Aldona, Bardez Goa, was found in illegal Brownish colour crystal powder like substance suspected to be Methamphetamine weighing 45.3 grams Worth Rs. 4,50,000/- approximately.

Credible information was received by Calangute Police Station from the sources that one male person will be coming to deliver narcotic drugs to his prospective customers. Accordingly a raid was conducted in presence of panchas and above narcotic drugs was seized.

A complaint regarding illegal possession of narcotic drugs was filed by PSI Shri. Rajaram Bagkar of Calangute P.S. upon which PSI Shri Vishwajit Dhavalikar has registered an offence under the provisions of NDPS Act, 1985.
