Mapusa Gets a Facelift: KTC Circle Beautification Project Unveiled
Mapusa’s urban landscape just got a boost with the inauguration of the beautification project at KTC Circle, a collaborative effort between the local government and JK Cement. The initiative, undertaken under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aims to enhance the city’s aesthetics and improve public spaces.
Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza, who attended the inauguration, said, “This project is a testament to the power of collaboration between government and corporate entities in transforming our city’s public spaces.” ¹
The event was also attended by MMC Chairperson Priya Mishal, Vice Chairperson Prakash Bhivshet, and Ward 19 Councillor Sudhir Kandolkar, along with representatives of JK Cement.
This project is part of Mapusa’s ongoing efforts to revamp its infrastructure, including the Rs 20 crore redevelopment plan for the Mapusa market building ¹.
