Goa College of Art Students Gain Practical Digital Insights from Kilowott Session
Panaji, December 2025 — Aspiring artists and designers at Goa College of Art recently benefited from an interactive session with Kilowott, a Goa-based digital transformation firm, gaining valuable insights into practical career development and industry expectations. The engagement was part of the tech company’s campus outreach designed to demonstrate how fine arts and digital creativity intersect in the modern technology sector.

The session, led by Kilowott representatives, saw 21 fine arts students gain insights into practical topics such as digital storytelling, effective customer experience (CX) design and creative strategy. This exposure directly links their artistic training to practical and commercial application in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
To strengthen this connection, Kilowott signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the college. Principal Harsha Mandurkar and Asst. Professor Maria M. D’Cruz Ferreira facilitated the signing, formalising a partnership that paves the way for future workshops, training programmes and placement opportunities specifically tailored for art students entering the digital design field.
Asst. Professor Maria Ferreira welcomed the initiative, noting that the students were impressed by Kilowott’s emphasis on mentorship and the blending of leadership skills with design skills, a vital step in empowering Goa’s creative talent pool.
