“Safety Check: North Goa Committee Cracks Down on Fire-Safety Violations”
The North Goa Joint Enforcement and Monitoring Committee constituted by the government has begun coordinated inspections across coastal areas, nightclubs, restaurants, and public entertainment venues to ensure strict compliance with fire-safety norms and ensuring
statutory compliance of safety measures of the public and tourists visiting. Directions were issued to the owners for for corrective measures. Inspection were conducted in all talukas of North Goa under the guidance of Shri Ankit Yadav, IAS Collector and District Magistrate, North Goa.
