Election Commission Appoints Observer for Electoral Roll Revision in Goa
Panaji, December 08 th december : The Election Commission of India has appointed Sandip Jacques, IAS Secretary (Revenue), as the Electoral Roll Observer for Goa State, tasked with overseeing the Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Roll with January 1, 2026, as the qualifying date.
As part of his mandate, Shri Jacques will be available to receive representations from the public on December 18, 2025, at 10:30 am in the Conference Hall of the Collectorate North. The Observer will also be available in his office at Chamber No. 102, 2nd Floor, Secretariat, Porvorim, Bardez Goa, and can be contacted on landline numbers 0832 2419411, 2419620.
This appointment underscores the Election Commission’s commitment to ensuring the accuracy and transparency of the electoral process in Goa. The Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Roll aims to update voter lists and provide citizens an opportunity to verify their enrollment details.
