Congress Grassroots Demand Justice: “No to Outsiders, Yes to Loyal Workers”
Mapusa, December 6: In a passionate plea, North Goa Pradesh Congress leader has urged the party high command to prioritize deserving grassroots workers over opportunistic newcomers from other parties in the upcoming Zilla Panchayat elections.
Speaking to the media congress leader Chandan, Mandrekar emphasized the importance of recognizing the tireless efforts of dedicated Congress workers, who have toiled for the party’s growth.
“It’s time we reward their loyalty and hard work,” he said. “We urge the party to give the Anjuna and Siolim tickets to genuine Congressmen who have bled for the party, rather than handing them over to outsiders.”
Mandrekar’s statement comes amid speculation about potential defections and last-minute nominations. The Congress, known for its strong grassroots presence, has been facing internal strife and external competition in the run-up to the elections.
“We have faith in the party’s leadership and its commitment to justice,” Mandrekar said. “We are confident that both tickets will go to deserving Congress workers who have earned it through their dedication and service.”
The grassroots movement is gaining momentum, with workers and supporters rallying behind Mandrekar’s call for change. As the Congress Party prepares to announce its candidates, the pressure is on to recognize and reward the loyalty of its true soldiers.
