DGP Alok Kumar Graces Home Guards & Civil Defence Raising Day Celebrations
Panaji, December 6: Director General of Police (DGP) Shri Alok Kumar, IPS, graced the 61st Annual Raising Day function of Home Guards & Civil Defence at the Police Headquarters (PHQ) in Panaji on saturday . The event was marked by a grand parade and salute to the brave men and women of the Home Guards & Civil Defence.


In his address, DGP Alok Kumar lauded the dedication and commitment of the Home Guards & Civil Defence personnel, stating that their vigilance and preparedness have been crucial in safeguarding civilian lives and property during emergencies and natural calamities. He emphasized the importance of community participation in disaster management and encouraged citizens to join hands with the Home Guards & Civil Defence to build a resilient society.
