“Goa’s Batting Blunders Hand Hyderabad 7-Wicket Win in U-23 women’s T20 Trophy”

In the Under-23 Women’s T20 Trophy Elite tournament, Goa suffered a 7-wicket loss to Hyderabad on Monday. Replying to Goa’s 110 for 6, Hyderabad chased down the target by scoring 114 for 3 in 17.5 overs.
In the match held at the Lady Amritbai Daga College Ground in Nagpur, Harshita Yadav (16), Urvashi (21), Tanisha Gaikwad (33), Usma Khan (12), and Athashree Shivarakar (18) played well. However, Goa could only reach 110. For Hyderabad, Srivalli and Trisha claimed one wicket each.

Hyderabad then secured victory on the back of skipper Mamata’s unbeaten 38, along with contributions from Akshaya Reddy (28) and Trisha (22). For Goa, Angel D’Costa and Tanaya Naik took one wicket each. Goa finished their campaign with 2 wins and 3 losses from 5 matches. With 8 points, they secured fourth place in Group D.
