Saligao:In a heartwarming celebration of five decades of selfless service, the Krist Raj Bhavan Aged Home in Saligao, Goa, recently marked its Golden Jubilee. The event was a testament to the unwavering dedication of the home’s caregivers, who have spent years nurturing dignity and care for the elderly.
Among the esteemed guests was a saligao MLA kedar naik who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to join the celebration. “It’s an honour to be part of this milestone,” they said, lauding the home’s tireless efforts to provide a supportive environment for the aged. “May this achievement inspire continued compassion and service in the years ahead.”
The event was also attended by BJP North Goa District Secretary by Shri. Ramesh Ghadi, and , Panch Members namely, Geeta Rane, and Deepak Rane, Former Panch Member, among others. Together, they extended their warm wishes to the home’s caregivers, Sisters Annette Varkey and Lily Joseph, who have devoted their lives to serving the elderly.
Sister Annette Varkey, who has been associated with the home for over two decades, expressed her gratitude for the support received from the community. “It’s the collective efforts of many that have made this possible,” she said, emphasizing the importance of compassion and care in making a difference in the lives of the elderly.
MLA Naik also praised the home’s efforts to provide a supportive environment for the aged, saying, “Places like Krist Raj Bhavan Aged Home are a blessing to our society, and I’m grateful to be associated with this noble cause.”
