CM Dr. Pramod Sawant Unveils 34th State Level Western India Science Fair 2025-26″
Mapusa: : In a spectacular display of scientific curiosity and innovation, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the 34th State Level Western India Science Fair 2025-26 at DMC’s PVS Kushe Higher Secondary School, Assagao. The three-day event brought together over 40 schools from across the state, showcasing cutting-edge projects and ideas that promise to shape the future of Goa and beyond.
Addressing the gathering, CM Dr. Sawant emphasized the importance of research, experimentation, and creative thinking in driving progress. “Science is the backbone of development,” he said. “We must encourage our young minds to explore, question, and innovate to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.” The Chief Minister also highlighted Goa’s rich scientific heritage and urged students to contribute to the state’s growth story ¹ ².
The science fair featured a diverse range of projects, from climate change and disaster management to food technology and biomedical research. Students presented their work through interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and presentations, showcasing their skills and creativity.
