Hotmixing and Improvement Works of Mapusa’s Arterial Road Commences”
Mapusa: In a momentous occasion, the foundation stone laying ceremony for the much-awaited hotmixing and improvement works from Hotel Satyaheera to Hotel Greenpark via Gandhi Circle up to NH-66 was laid, marking a significant milestone in Mapusa’s infrastructure development.
“The project will bring a paradigm shift in connectivity and safety for residents and commuters,” said Saligao MLA Kedar Naik, emphasizing the importance of quality infrastructure. MMC Chairperson Priya Mishal echoed the sentiment, highlighting the project’s potential to boost economic opportunities.


The project involves transforming the existing road with milling, hotmixing, and widening, aiming to provide smoother travel and reduced congestion. Mapusa MLA Joshua Dsouza expressed his excitement, saying, “This project is a testament to our commitment to delivering better infrastructure for Mapusa.”
The ceremony was attended by Vice Chairperson Prakash Bhivshet, Guirim VP Sarpanch Shubham Rao Desai, and enthusiastic locals, all united in their quest for a better Mapusa. As one resident remarked, “The wait is finally over for a road that has long needed an overhaul.”
