GOA SHINES AT IITF 2025: A VIBRANT CELEBRATION OF CULTURE AND PROGRESS
The Goa Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, has been making waves with its captivating showcase of Goan culture, cuisine, and achievements. As part of the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” theme, the pavilion is a testament to Goa’s rich heritage and its journey towards becoming a self-reliant state ¹ ² ³

The pavilion, spread over 200 sq m in Hall No. 3, is a sensory delight, featuring audio-visual displays, hoardings, and photo exhibitions highlighting Goa’s progress in tourism, industries, and rural development. Visitors can indulge in traditional Goan sweets like dodol and bebinca, and sample the newly launched kokum-based drink, koku, promoted as a natural coolant and antioxidant ² ³.
The Goa Pavilion has been receiving an overwhelming response, with dignitaries like North Goa MP Sadanand Tanavade and Commissioner-cum-Secretary (I&P) Sarpreet Singh Gill, IAS, praising the state’s innovative showcase. Gill commended the pavilion’s thematic design and immersive experience, highlighting Goa’s growth in tourism, industries, and handicrafts ⁴ ⁵.
The pavilion also provides a platform for Goan artisans to showcase their traditional products, including handicrafts and GI-tagged items. Daily performances by Goan folk artists add to the festive atmosphere, making the Goa Pavilion a must-visit destination at IITF 2025 ³.
As the IITF 2025 continues until November 27, the Goa Pavilion remains a shining example of India’s cultural diversity and economic resilience, embodying the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” ¹ ².
