ROAD TO REVIVAL: MLA’s Inspection Sparks Hope for Mapusa’s Much-Needed Makeover
Mapusa: In a decisive move, Mapusa MLA Joshua Dsouza led an on-site inspection of the proposed road works from Hotel Satyaheera to Hotel Green Park, via Gandhi Circle, on Tuesday . The inspection, which stretched up to NH-66, marked a crucial step towards transforming the congested thoroughfare into a model road.
Accompanied by Guirim Sarpanch Shubham Rao Desai, AE Kashish Rane, and other officials, the MLA got a firsthand look at the proposed works, which include hotmixing, road widening, and laying of pavers. The foundation stone for the project is set to be laid tomorrow, heralding a new era for Mapusa’s infrastructure.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Joshua dsouza emphasized the importance of quality work and timely completion. “We are committed to delivering world-class infrastructure to the people of Mapusa. This project is just the beginning,” he said.
The inspection was hailed as a significant step forward by locals, who have long endured the consequences of poor road conditions. “The MLA’s personal involvement has given us new hope. We expect a smooth and efficient execution of the project,” said a resident.
