LOCAL TEACHER ELECTED AS DISTRICT RESOURCE PERSON FOR CCRT
A proud moment for Guarden Angel Higher Secondary School, Curchorem, Goa, as one of its dedicated teachers, Shaikhsarad Ismail K, has been elected as District Resource Person (DRP) for Goa State, representing the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), New Delhi.
Shaikhsarad Ismail K recently attended a 3-day workshop for DRPs from November 21-23 2025 at the Regional Center CCRT, Udaipur, Rajasthan. The workshop provided a platform for resource persons to share best practices, discuss strategies, and enhance their skills in cultural resource management.
During his visit, Shaikhsarad Ismail K was seen interacting with Deputy Director Shri Rahul Kumar and Field Officer Shri Mithun Dutta, discussing ways to promote cultural awareness and education in the region.
The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, dedicated to promoting cultural education and awareness. CCRT aims to integrate cultural values and traditions into school education, and Mr. Shaikhsarad’s appointment as DRP will help achieve this goal in Goa.
