Bicholim: Minister for Cooperation , Shri. subash Shirodkar attended the concluding function of the 72nd All India National Co-operative Week 2025 at Bicholim, in the presence of Premendra Shet (MLA), Ashutosh Apte (RCS Goa), Pandurang Kuttikar (Chairman – Goa State Co-operative Bank Ltd.), vijaykumar Natekar (Chairperson – Bicholim Municipal Council), Shri Sandeep Dharkar (General Manager – NABARD) and Shri Vijaykant Gaonkar (Chairman – Goa State Co-operative Union Ltd.).
Minister for Cooperation, Shri Subhash Shirodkar, emphasized the importance of cooperative institutions in achieving self-reliance and national development during the 72nd All India National Co-operative Week 2025 at Bicholim. He highlighted the crucial role cooperatives play in supporting rural livelihoods, promoting economic decentralization, and generating employment. Shirodkar stressed the need to revitalize defunct Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) and utilize dormant assets productively. Shirodkar also emphasized the importance of innovation, professional management, and digital transformation in making cooperatives globally competitive.
