“Kanpur’s Ramesh Awasthi Pays Courtesy Call on Goa Governor, Discusses Inter-State Ties”
Dona Paula, Goa – In a significant visit to the picturesque state of Goa, Shri Ramesh Awasthi, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, called on the Governor of Goa, Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju at Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula.
The meeting, which was also attended by MP (Rajya Sabha) Shri Sadanand Shet Tanavade, was a courtesy call aimed at strengthening inter-state ties and fostering greater cooperation between Uttar Pradesh and Goa.
During the meeting, Shri Awasthi and the Governor discussed a range of issues, including ways to promote trade, tourism, and cultural exchange between the two states. The MP from Kanpur also sought the Governor’s support in promoting Uttar Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage and tourist attractions in Goa.
Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, in his remarks, welcomed Shri Awasthi to Goa and expressed his desire to strengthen ties between the two states. He highlighted the immense potential for cooperation in areas such as tourism, IT, and education.
The meeting was marked by a warm and cordial atmosphere, with both sides expressing their commitment to working together to promote mutual interests.
