Goa’s Electoral Rolls Get a Boost as ECI Team Holds Crucial Meeting

The Chief Election Officer Shri Sanjay Goel IAS had meeting with the three member team of ECI which comprised of Principal Secretary ECI Shri S.B. Joshi, Principal Secretary Shri Ajoy Kumar,Secretary Shri Pawan Diwan.m who deployed by the Election Commission of India to review SIR preparedness/ progress in the Goa State. During the meeting Shri Goel elaborated in detail the process of how the steps have been taken with regards imparting training to ROs, EROs, BLAs, BLOs and other concern authorities so as to conduct the SIR exercise smoothly in the State of Goa.

While guiding the concerned Principal Secretary ECI Shri S.B. Joshi stressed on the need to set deadline, maintain proper coordination among each other, maintain quality in work, follow proper, procedure, refrain from disturbing voters, He instructed EROs to help to digitize to those who are out of range and advised to enhance the target. He hoped for the completion of SIR exercise in Goa without any problem
