Calangute Beach Circle Unveiled: A Milestone in Beautification
In a grand ceremony, the Calangute Beach Circle was officially inaugurated, marking a significant step towards enhancing the beauty and infrastructure of this popular tourist destination. The event was graced by prominent dignitaries, including Hon. MLA Shri Michael V. Lobo, Sarpanch Shri Joseph R. Sequeira, and Shri Rajkumar Raichandani, Managing Director of Raichandani Group.
Shri Rajkumar Raichandani’s generous support was instrumental in completing the project, with an estimated cost of ₹30 lakhs.
In appreciation of his contribution, MLA Michael Lobo announced that the circle will be officially known as “Calangute Beach” Circle, and Raichandani will be allowed to display his name on the circle for 10 days ¹.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by ex-footballers Bruno Coutinho, Alexio Miranda, and Digambar Haldankar, adding to the festive atmosphere. Mr. Ashton Santamaria, M.D. of Santamaria Group, was also present, providing his constant support to the event.
This development is expected to boost tourism in Calangute, solidifying its position as one of Goa’s most popular beach destinations.
