YOUNG ARTISTS SHINE AT ‘GARBAGE FREE GOA’ EXHIBITION IN PANJIM
Panaji, November 11, 2025 – In a vibrant display of creativity and environmental awareness, the ‘Garbage Free Goa’ exhibition, held at Progress High School in Panjim city, brought together 189 talented young artists to showcase their vision for a cleaner and greener Goa.
The exhibition, inaugurated today, aims to sensitize students about the importance of waste management and sustainability. The artworks, crafted by students, highlighted the need to protect Goa’s natural beauty and promote eco-friendly practices.
Shri Soma Ramnath, a renowned artist from Amaravati, Amona, Goa, praised the efforts of the young artists, saying, “Their imagination and creativity are truly inspiring. I’m confident that this exhibition will spark a wave of environmental consciousness across the state.”
The exhibition featured a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, collages, and sculptures, all made from recycled materials. The students’ innovative use of waste materials served as a powerful reminder of the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling.
