“ROADS TO PROSPERITY: MLA MICHAEL LOBO LAUNCHES DUAL ROAD REVAMP IN CALANGUTE
Parra: In a significant development for the Calangute constituency, MLA Michael Lobo inaugurated two major road improvement projects in Parra and Nagao Arpora on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. The events, held at Ganesh Visarjan Pond in Crassco vaddo, Parra, and Regenta hotel in Mendes vaddo, Nagao, marked a crucial step towards enhancing the region’s infrastructure.
The first project, Improvement & hotmixing of roads from Football ground at Aradi, Parra upto Shantadurga Bar at Crassco vaddo, Parra, aims to provide a smoother and safer passage for residents and tourists alike. The second project, Improvement & hotmixing of roads in ward No.1, 2 & 3 in V. P. Nagao Arpora, will significantly improve the overall connectivity and accessibility in the area.
Speaking at the inauguration, MLA Michael Lobo emphasized the importance of quality infrastructure in driving economic growth and improving the quality of life for residents. He thanked the villagers and local leaders for their cooperation and support in undertaking these projects.
The events were attended by Sarpanch and members of V.P. Parra and V.P. Arpora – Nagoa, who also highlighted the need for continued efforts to develop the region’s infrastructure.
