Parra’s Vision for a Brighter Future: Village Panchayat and ASG Eye Hospital Deliver Free Spectacles to Residents”
Parra, November 8, 2025: The Village Panchayat Parra, in collaboration with ASG Eye Hospital and JCI Parra, successfully distributed free spectacles to beneficiaries of the recent Free Eye Check-Up Camp, marking a significant milestone in the “Together for Parra” initiative.
The event, held at the Village Panchayat Hall, Parra, saw a large turnout of residents who had been advised spectacles during the eye check-up camp. The distribution program was a testament to the power of collective efforts in driving positive change and promoting social welfare. The event was attended by local dignitaries, including the Sarpanch of Village Panchayat Parra, Daniel Lobo who praised the initiative and urged residents to continue supporting such noble causes.

An Ophthalmologist at ASG Eye Hospital, echoed this sentiment, saying, “Good vision is essential for overall well-being, and we are proud to have played a part in empowering the people of Parra with clear sight.”
