CURCHOREM TAKES A STEP TOWARDS ELECTORAL ACCURACY
In a significant move towards ensuring accurate voter rolls, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in Curchorem, Goa, distributed Enumeration Forms to electors as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026. The exercise, which commenced on November 5, 2025, aims to update electoral rolls and identify eligible voters.
Residents of Curchorem turned out in large numbers to collect their forms, which will help verify their names and details in the electoral rolls. The forms, partially pre-filled with existing voter information, require electors to confirm their details and add new information if necessary ¹ ².
The SIR exercise is being conducted across 12 states and Union Territories, including Goa, and is expected to be completed by December 4, 2025. The draft electoral rolls will be published on December 9, 2025, followed by a claims and objections period ³ ⁴.
