PWD TO LAUNCH MASSIVE ROAD REVAMP WORTH ₹50 CRORE”

Panaji, November 5: The Public Works Department (PWD) is set to embark on a massive road revamp project across Goa, with a budget of ₹50 crore allocated to fix potholes and improve road infrastructure. PWD Minister Digambar Kamat announced that tenders for North and South Goa have been issued, and contractors have been instructed to begin work immediately.

The move aims to restore roads to optimal condition and ensure smooth travel, as many roads have deteriorated due to repeated digging for sewerage and power cabling works. “We are committed to improving the state’s road infrastructure, and this initiative will go a long way in enhancing the quality of life for Goans,” Kamat said.
