MHAJE GHAR YOJANA: CM SAWANT TURNS DREAMS INTO REALITY FOR NUVEM, BENAULIM & VELIM RESIDENTS”
Panaji, Goa – Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant today distributed forms under the Mhaje Ghar Yojana to beneficiaries from Nuvem, Benaulim, and Velim constituencies, bringing hope and happiness to thousands of families. The event was attended by MLA and Chairman of Law Commission, Shri. Aleixo Sequeira, and other dignitaries.
The Mhaje Ghar Yojana aims to provide housing security and ownership rights to long-time residents, particularly those living on government or community lands without legal ownership. The scheme is expected to benefit nearly half of Goa’s population, with over 11 lakh people set to gain from it.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Sawant emphasized the government’s commitment to providing affordable housing and land rights to the people. “Our government is dedicated to ensuring that every Goan has a roof over their head, and this scheme is a significant step towards achieving that goal,” he said.
The distribution of forms was followed by a ceremony where the Chief Minister and other dignitaries addressed the gathering, highlighting the benefits of the scheme and urging beneficiaries to avail themselves of the opportunity
