VAGATOR CALF RESCUE: FIRE BRIGADE SAVES INJURED ANIMAL NEAR TITLY RESTAURANT
Mapusa, Goa – In a heartwarming display of compassion and efficiency, the Mapusa Fire Brigade rescued an injured calf lying on the road near Titly Restaurant in Vagator on Monday. Led by Firefighter Suraj Shetgaonkar, the team sprang into action, arriving at the scene at 12:05 hrs to provide aid to the distressed animal.
According to eyewitnesses, the calf had been lying on the road, struggling to move, when locals alerted the authorities. The fire brigade team, equipped with the necessary gear, carefully lifted the calf and administered first aid. The calf, which had suffered injuries, was given immediate attention and care by the fire brigade team.
“The calf was in a lot of pain, but our team acted quickly to stabilize it and provide relief,” said Firefighter Suraj Shetgaonkar. “We’re just glad we could help and ensure the calf receives the medical attention it needs.”
The rescue operation was carried out efficiently, and the calf was later handed over to local animal welfare authorities for further treatment. The swift response and professionalism of the Mapusa Fire Brigade have been lauded by locals and animal lovers alike.
