EDUCATION TAKES CENTER STAGE IN GOA: DIRECTORATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION SIGNS MoU WITH KEYMAN CAPITAL PVT. LTD.

Panaji, November 4, 2025 – In a significant step towards enhancing the quality of higher education in Goa, the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Keyman Capital Pvt. Ltd. The ceremony, held at Mahalaxmi, Panaji, was presided over by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, highlighting the government’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and opportunities in the state.

The MoU aims to foster collaboration between the Directorate of Higher Education and Keyman Capital Pvt. Ltd., focusing on initiatives that will elevate the standards of higher education in Goa. This partnership is expected to bring about innovative approaches in education, benefiting students and educators alike.

The mou was signed in the presence of Prasad Lolyekar, Secretary (Education); Shri Bhushan Sawaikar, Director of Higher Education; Smt. Meghana Shetgaonkar from SCERT; and Shri Dhaval Gandhi, Co-Founder of Keyman Capital, at Mahalaxmi, Panaji.

The partnership will focus on developing programs that enhance the quality of education, making it more relevant to the needs of the industry.

Emphasis will be placed on skill development programs that equip students with the necessary skills to excel in their chosen fields. The partnership may also involve initiatives to improve educational infrastructure, providing students with better facilities and resources.

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “This MoU is a testament to our government’s commitment to providing quality education to our youth. We believe that this collaboration will play a significant role in shaping the future of our students and contributing to the state’s socio-economic growth.”
