“CM Dr. Pramod Sawant Takes Mhaje Ghar Yojana to Priol Constituency, Hands Over Forms to Beneficiaries”

In a significant step towards providing ownership rights to thousands of Goans, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant distributed forms under the Mhaje Ghar Yojana to the people of Priol constituency. The ceremony was attended by MLA Shri Govind Gaude, Dy. Collector, Mamlatdar, Sarpanch, and Panch members, among others.
The Mhaje Ghar Yojana, a flagship scheme of the Goa government, aims to provide ownership rights to long-standing residents of the state, particularly those living on government and comunidade land. The scheme is expected to benefit a large section of the population, with at least 50% of applicants expected to be covered ¹.

During the distribution ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant emphasized the importance of the scheme, stating that it would help thousands of Goans realize their dream of home ownership. He also appealed to the comunidade to withdraw their cases and issue No-Objection certificates to those who have built houses in their properties prior to February 2014 ².
The Mhaje Ghar Yojana has been launched to address the issue of lack of proper documentation for houses built on government and comunidade land. The scheme will provide a sense of security and stability to the residents, allowing them to access loans and other benefits.
With the distribution of forms, the scheme is now one step closer to becoming a reality, and residents of Priol constituency are set to benefit from this initiative.
