Building on their victory against Jamshedpur FC, the Gaurs delivered a confident, attacking performance that showcased sharpness in the final third and composure throughout the ninety minutes.
The home side wasted no time asserting dominance, as Dejan Drazic opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a smart finish after a slick passing move. Goa’s early tempo and pressing kept Inter Kashi pinned back in their own half, with the midfield trio of David Timor, Harsh Patre, and Borja Herrera dictating play.
Their control was rewarded again in the 37th minute, when Borja Herrera doubled the lead with a precise strike from just outside the box, finishing off a move that began down the left flank. The Spaniard’s goal gave the hosts breathing space before half-time and reflected Goa’s fluid attacking rhythm.
Borja capped off a superb individual display in the 42nd minute, converting calmly from inside the area to make it 3–0 and seal all three points for the Gaurs. The result underlined FC Goa’s attacking intent, with Drazic and Herrera combining seamlessly behind the forwards and Muhammed Nemil adding creativity from wide areas.
