Lost Minor Boy Found on Calangute Beach, Authorities Launch Investigation

A dramatic rescue unfolded on Sunday when Drishti lifeguards spotted a 12- to 14-year-old boy wandering alone on Calangute Beach. The boy, identified as Zahid Mohammed from Uttar Pradesh, was taken into protective custody after he couldn’t provide any information about his whereabouts or his family.

According to reports, the boy claimed to have traveled alone to Goa by train, leaving authorities stunned. The Drishti team handed him over to the Calangute Tourist Police, who have launched an investigation to locate his family and determine how he managed to reach Goa without any supervision.
